The Eastern Scarlet, Common Scarlet or Scarlet Butterfly (''Axiocerses tjoane'') is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It is found in southern and eastern Africa. It is not present on the Eastern Cape. The wingspan is 24–32 mm for males and 25–34 mm for females. Adults are on wing year round.
